Americans produce roughly 4.4 pounds of trash per person per day. Zero waste living exponentially reduces the amount of trash that ends up in landfills and often in our waterways.
Learn how to reduce your personal impact on climate change from Philadelphia’s best and brightest on zero waste living! You will hear from Julie Hancher, Co-Founder and Editor in Chief of GreenPhillyBlog, Nic Esposito from Mayor Kenney’s Zero Waste and Litter Cabinet, and Brianna Ziegenhagen of @TrashTalkPhilly.
Join PennEnvironment at the end of the evening to take action on curbing single-use plastics. We’ll be witting to the media, calling elected officials, and signing petitions in support of eliminating single-use plastics.
Snacks provided from the United By Blue kitchen, drinks provided by Single Prop Rum! Purchase tickets at: https://unitedbyblue.ticketleap.com/how-to-live-zero-waste/
