Best Practice Forum: Plastic Disruptors – The business case for zero waste

August 21, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

- $25

Best Practice Forums are a series of workshops that bring B Lab’s Impact Assessment to life.  Business owners come together in an honest, vulnerable, and supportive environment to exchange challenges and learnings regarding practicing the triple bottom line. Attendees leave feeling validated and inspired, with tangible ideas for improvements in their own businesses.

On August 21st, we’ll be discussing plastic waste. How can you, as a business owner and a conscious consumer, take efforts to reduce, reuse, and eliminate? Learn about creative and innovative approaches to addressing our cultural dependency on single use plastics. At every point in its life-cycle these businesses are turning conventional plastic usage on its head.

Joining us for this panel will be:

Stick around after the panel discussion for an optional workshop where SBN staff will guide you through B Lab’s Quick Impact Assessment. This free, 30-minute assessment will help you uncover positive impact and create metrics-based goals towards being a better triple bottom line business. SBN staff will provide an overview of the tool, B Corp certification, and will then provide time for you to take the assessment on your own. Remember to bring your laptop or tablet!

Please RSVP and purchase tickets here! Non-SBN Member Ticket Fee: $25
